Abstract

This module explores the importance of play in early childhood development, providing parents with tools to support life skills through playful activities. Topics include types of play, the role of secure attachment, and the development of self-control and social skills. The module addresses key areas of child development – physical, socio-emotional, cognitive, language, and learning attitudes – and offers strategies to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and a love for reading and writing. Through practical examples and clear guidance, parents are encouraged to balance safety with freedom of exploration, fostering harmonious development.

This guide is part of the materials designed for parents participating in the parental education course.
