Parental Education, Parenting Role, Parenting Programme, Managing Stress, Anger issues
The session "How to stay calm in stressful situations" offers a comprehensive overview of stress and anger. Stress is a normal part of life and parenting, and reducing it helps us gain more control over our lives. Similarly, accepting anger as a normal emotion and understanding the factors that trigger it supports personal planning for holistic emotion management. The theoretical elements presented aim to help participants discover, understand, and recognize the various aspects of stress and anger, as well as identify their own factors contributing to these emotional states. During this session, participants will also be introduced to different methods for managing stress and anger.
These practical techniques are designed to quickly reduce stress or anger and maintain self-control. By implementing these techniques, parents will not only improve their own quality of life but also that of their children, exposing them to the elements necessary for healthy emotional management. At the end of the session, the parental educator will ask parents to develop a Personal Anger Management Plan and encourage them to consult the Parent's Brochure on the Anger Management Plan (AMP).
This module is part of the materials dedicated to the training of parental educators.
This module was conducted within the project “Social inclusion through the provision of integrated services at the community level – Parenting education component” implemented by the HoltIS with the support of the UNICEF in Romania.
